Jon Landa is a prominent contemporary artist whose work is defined by a solid figurative foundation that dialogues with abstraction, alongside a masterful command of light and color.
Holding a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country, he completed his training at prestigious institutions such as the Complutense University of Madrid through various workshops and symposiums in which he has participated.
His exhibition career spans more than two decades, during which he has established a strong presence both in Spain and internationally, most notably within the Asian market.
His international reach is remarkable, marked by consistent participation in art fairs. Highlighted among these is his recurring presence at Art Revolution Taipei (Taiwan) across multiple editions, as well as various fairs in cities such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Belgium.
Landa has also expanded his artistic language into large scales through significant urban interventions, a concept he calls ARTE_XL. Notable among these is the ZOOMUSEOA artistic project in Agurain (Álava), which aims to create over 10 giant artworks across various walls throughout the town.
His technical excellence has been recognized with prestigious awards, including 1st Prize at the XLIV International Painting Contest "Fundació Ynglada-Guillot", 1st Prize at the XXIX National Painting Contest "Enrique Ginestal", and a finalist nomination at the XXIV Award.
His paintings are included in public and private collections worldwide.
