He made his first trip to Europe, settling briefly in Paris, followed by an artistic journey traveling between Paris, Tokyo (where he held his first solo exhibitions), Barcelona, and Mallorca.
Through his work, he reinterprets traditional perspective through the overlapping and resolution of planes, a feature of clear Japanese influence, yet centered on Mediterranean landscapes (Cadaqués, Sicily, the light of L'Empordà), as well as series on Paris and villages across the peninsula.
He works mainly in oil and watercolor. His chromatic palette moves through blues, grays, whites of Mediterranean luminosity, and contrasts in warm tones.
He has exhibited regularly in galleries in Tokyo, Paris, Barcelona, and Girona, and his work is part of major public and private collections in Japan and Europe, including holdings such as those of the Fundació Suñol and the Fine Arts Museum of Bilbao.
