He has been painting and drawing all his life. He learned the craft at the hands of great masters: Josep Perpinyà, Julià Cutiller, and Francesc Vila.
For years he has combined his artistic activity with teaching, vocations he has always managed to combine successfully.
Since then, his work has achieved broad reach thanks to his exhibitions.
He works intensively and expands his professional horizons by dedicating himself to graphic design. In 2014, he won first prize for Ex Libris in the art contest organized by the Amics de la Unesco association. He has also worked on book illustrations (Els pobles del Baix Empordà by Maruja Arnau, Retalls de Premsa per al capvespre by Àngel Caldas).
He currently has more than thirty solo exhibitions and countless group shows to his credit. His work is held in private collections across various European countries and throughout Spain.
In 2016, his international recognition began at the Art Revolution Taipei 2016 International Art Fair. That same year, he exhibited part of his work at the Kelti Art Center, Bellavita Art Gallery, X-Power Art Gallery, and Get Art Museum in Taipei, Taiwan.
In 2017, on the occasion of celebrating his 30 years of painting, the book Toni Cassany. 30 anys de pintura by writer David Pagès i Cassú was published and presented at the El Claustre gallery in Girona.
